Описание
All his hard postwar life a hereditary worker Peter Savichev (I.Ledogoroc) sacrificed to education and bringing up his 3 children. And now, when children grew up and went to live all over the country, he gets to know that he is death-sick. By an express wire he invites his relatives to a so-called family celebration, the reason being his pensioning-off and marriage to a woman who replaced their mother. Sitting at the festive table in the bosom of his family and friends, he thinks his and his childrens complicated life over.
