Описание
Lawyer Margaritov vegetates in need. He and his adult daughter Lyudmila rent a room in an old house. Lyudmila falls in love with the son of the mistress of the house, Nikolai. Nikolai, a gambler, asks Lyudmila to steal an important document from her father.
