Only old people and a young Baranovs family are left in the village Martiyamovo. Tatiana, the house mistress, didnt want to leave native land, and her husband Alex, having found out that the village was officially declared as having no prospects, rejoices over that and starts dreaming of city life. Tatiana decides not to hold him and gives him free rein
