Veronika Vasnetsova is a mother of many children and a police major who returns to service after a ten-year break. Thanks to her ex-husband's connections, Veronika ends up in the Kaliningrad investigative department, where she will have to lead a group to combat especially serious crimes, despite the machinations of her superiors, the suspicion of her colleagues, problems with her children and troubles in her personal life. But it's not so easy to break and unsettle Vasnetsova.
