Thirty-year-old Masha's husband, successful businessman Viktor Polivanov, uses any excuse to humiliate his wife. She is ready to endure this for the sake of her family and children, but problems with her 9-year-old son Sasha force her to look at her life in a new way - now she is ready to break free from her husband's care. Viktor, realizing this, becomes a dangerous adversary, threatening to sue the children. On the way to her new life, Masha meets Aleksey, who will also have to make a difficult choice.
