The quiet town of Zarechnyy is shaken by a series of brutal murders. Investigator Yana returns home to solve the crime and overcome her inner demons. The girl's radical methods and personal interest put the investigation at risk, and police captain Denis gets involved. One of the leads leads the partners to a local orphanage. But the closer they get to the killer, the more they try to stop them. Someone is ready to do anything to ensure that the terrible secret remains in the past forever.
