Journalist Vera Horvath returns from the noisy big city Vienna to her great-grandmother's house in southern Burgenland - much to the dismay of her teenage daughter. Driven by a insect problem in her garden, Vera ends up at Johanna's "Green Thumbs Club", where she meets Eva, the architect's wife who has also recently moved to the area. Eva's problems are less about the insects and more about her unfaithful husband Paul, whose illegal dealings and countless affairs make her life difficult.
